STORMDRAIN STENCILING
The Fayette County Conservation District continually seeks volunteers to participate in our stormdrain
stenciling project.  This involves spray painting storm drains with the message “DO NOT DUMP, DRAINS
TO STREAM”, with the hopes of making Fayette County residents aware that pollution, including litter,
entering the County’s storm drains, is not filtered out before entering local waterways.  Educational
brochures will be distributed to area residents providing them with additional information about the
project, the pollution problem and possible solutions.  All materials will be provided by the Conservation
District, and times and locations can be discussed to accommodate your group.  For more information
please contact
Heather Knupsky at (724) 438-4497.
